The veteran politician, who was once the BJP’s most well-known face in Bihar, has also withdrawn from the upcoming Lok Sabha elections due to health concerns. On April 3, he disclosed it via social media, posting on X, previously Twitter. “I’ve been battling cancer for the past six months. Now I believe the moment has arrived to notify folks. Today, Bihar has lost a great political pioneer forever. His politics were centred on the concerns of the poor and backward.
