In his 438th match for India, Rohit Sharma reached 17,000 runs in international cricket.Rohit is only the sixth Indian batter to accomplish this feat in international cricket.In the first innings of the fourth Test, Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 35 runs. Rohit joined an elite group of Indian batters who have scored more than 17,000 international runs, including Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. He is India’s sixth batter to score 17,000 runs or more, and the seventh Indian batter to do so.

ISRO

The NISAR (NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar) satellite will be launched into a near-polar Earth orbit in 2024 from India’s southeastern coast using the Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark-II rocket. For the launch, the satellite’s science payload will be integrated with its body. NISAR, the most advanced radar system ever deployed on a NASA science mission, is being launched by ISRO. This satellite will survey nearly all of Earth’s land and ice surfaces twice every 12 days. It will accurately measure movements.

Xi Jinping

On Friday, March 10, 2023, China’s Parliament unanimously approved President Xi Jinping’s unprecedented third five-year term. Mr. Xi, 69, was re-elected as leader of the ruling Communist Party of China (CPC) by its once-every-five-year Congress in October last year, becoming the first Chinese leader since party founder Mao Zedong to serve beyond the two five-year terms.

Satish Kaushik 

Satish Kaushik, a Bollywood actor-filmmaker, died on Wednesday in Delhi. He was 66. According to the preliminary postmortem report, cardiac arrest was the cause of death. His death has sent shockwaves throughout the Hindi film industry. Kher told CNN-News18 that Kaushik suffered a heart attack on his way to the hospital in New Delhi. On Thursday, his body will be brought to Mumbai. On Tuesday, the late actor-director even attended veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar’s Holi party.

Narendra Modi and Anthony Albanese

On Thursday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese attended the first day of the India-Australia Test match at Motera’s Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
