Los Angeles, March 13 (IANS) Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh has won Best Actress at the 95th Academy Awards, becoming the first Asian actress to do so. Yeoh was recognised for her outstanding performance in ‘Everything, Everywhere, All at Once.
She finished ahead of Cate Blanchett, Michelle Williams, Ana de Armas, and Andrea Riseborough.
Yeoh has a career spanning nearly four decades and has been everywhere from Hong Kong cinema to American and British cinema, with her journey in cinema bringing her well-deserved accolades all at once.
