Nirmala Sitharaman, a Union Minister, slammed the opposition for “changing the goal posts” in the Manipur crisis and for preventing the functioning of parliament.
She claimed that although the administration had promised to bring up the Manipur ethnic violence in parliament, the opposition had blocked it.
“People have visited Manipur, interacted with locals there, and then left. We’re interested in learning what the people in Manipur told them, Ms. Sitharaman told reporters today.
