Syed Shahnawaz Hussain, a senior BJP leader, brushed down the idea that Muslims received inadequate representation on the party’s Lok Sabha election tickets. Addressing a news conference here,the former Union minister exhorted the minority community to have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s philosophy of “sabka Saath sabka vikas”.Additionally, he made note of the fact that the party is expected to field another member of the community in Lakshadweep and has granted a ticket to a Muslim academic from Calicut, Kerala.
