Neeraj Chopra, the world and Tokyo Olympics champion javelin thrower, said he was in “top physical shape” and “has never felt so good before.” He will begin training in Turkey this week and will make his outdoor competition comeback in 2024.The 26-year-old Chopra, who had missed the entire season owing to injuries, had a difficult time leading up to the Tokyo Games.After his training session in South Africa, Chopra is taking a little break and told SAI media, “I want to be in the best shape possible before Paris.”
“So far, my training sessions have gone incredibly well. Along with strength and skill, fitness is something I always emphasise.
“I haven’t felt this good in a long time.”
