Friendship is one of life’s greatest gifts. It spans time and geography, providing comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging. Friendship Day is more than simply a celebration; it is a reminder of how important friends are in our lives. It is time to thank those who have helped us, rejoiced with us, and stood with us during tough times. International Friendship Day is celebrated worldwide on July 30 each year, a day formally designated by the United Nations in 2011. However, in India, Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August; in 2024, the day will be marked on August 4, which falls on a Sunday.
