Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, announced today that Starlink will provide connection to globally known relief agencies in Gaza.
He was replying to US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, often known as AOC, who wondered how anybody could justify “such an act” after communications and internet access in Gaza were cut off last night.
“It is unacceptable to cut off all communication to a population of 2.2 million people.” Journalists, medical experts, humanitarian initiatives, and innocent people are all at risk,” AOC wrote on X. “I’m not sure how such an act can be justified.” This technique has long been condemned by the United States.”
