A breakout film transformed actor Angad Bedi’s life, as he recalled his late father, famed cricketer Bishan Singh Bedi, being “hurt” by his choice to chop his hair in his late teens. After seeing Angad in the critically acclaimed film Pink, the older Bedi became more sympathetic of his motivations. Angad, who has also appeared in films such as Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai, Alia Bhatt’s Dear Zindagi, and Janhvi Kapoor’s Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, revealed that when he chopped his hair, his father was so “disturbed” that they did not communicate for many years. “He was hurt, not angry.” Hurt is a deeper feeling than rage.
