In response to this news, businessman Anand Mahindra told an intriguing anecdote about his made-in-India iPhone. Taking to X (previously Twitter), the business magnate highlighted his satisfaction and joy at possessing a smartphone made in the United States. He also mentioned how a salesperson in the United States reacted when he told him that his iPhone 15 was built in India.
It all started with a post on X by the Indian Tech and Infra page. “Google to start manufacturing Pixel smartphones in India, beginning with the latest model which will be rolled out in 2024,” the tagline reads.
