Chhath Puja

Chhath Puja is a highly regarded holiday that is observed with great devotion, especially in Bihar, Jharkhand, and eastern Uttar Pradesh. The four-day celebration honours the Sun God Surya and his spouse Usha.On the fourth and last day of Chhath Puja, the morning Arghya, one of the most significant rituals, is performed for the rising Sun. This ceremony is carried out with reverence and prayers for the health, fortune, and prosperity of the devotees and their families. Devotees donate water, fruits, and other customary goods while reciting mantras, praising the Sun God for his favours and wishing him ongoing well-being.
