Vinesh went down to 50kg to qualify for Paris 2024, when Antim Panghal was assigned to her weight class.In response to Phogat’s scandal, famed boxer and Olympic bronze medallist Mary Kom noted that athletes are responsible for their own weight control.She stated, “I was quite upset since I had been doing the same thing (weight control) for many years. Weight is vital, and that is my obligation. “I can’t blame anyone.”
