North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has pledged to “hold hands” with Russian President Vladimir Putin in order to strengthen strategic cooperation on their common aim of building a powerful country, according to state media KCNA.

Kim made the commitment in a message to Putin on Russia’s National Day, defending Putin’s choice to attack Ukraine and expressing “full support and solidarity.”
